Re-imagining Our Practice: Solidarity & Justice in Wellness

A free, online workshop with Kelley Nicole Palmer

Join Accessible Yoga Training School for a live conversation with writer, coach, and yoga teacher Kelley Nicole Palmer about the responsibility we each hold in this moment to undo systems of oppression

The work of equity, justice, and solidarity must be sustainable in order to make true change. This sustainability relies less on our outward actions and more on the efforts we make to turn inward, to engage in self-inquiry, and to commit to our individual work so we can each show up fully.

In this mini-workshop with Kelley Nicole Palmer, she’ll share thoughts on re-imagining our practice and sustainable solidarity.

Kelley will speak to:

  • the difference between solidarity versus charity

  • equity as a ‘self' practice rather than an ‘other' practice

  • and so much more!

Kelley will also share about her upcoming course, Race & Equity in Yoga: Disruption As a Practice. This 12-hr live, online training will support you in getting clear on your role in dismantling white supremacy. You’ll learn to activate your yoga practice for social justice

Mini-workshop attendees will receive early access to registration for Kelley’s Race & Equity course. And! Mini-workshop attendees will also be entered into a give-away! Kelley will offer one private coaching session and three signed copies of her bookManifest: 30 days of Intention Mantras, to several lucky winners.

About Kelley

Kelley Nicole Palmer is a writer, wellness advocate and community organizer committed to using the tools and philosophies of yoga to cultivate liberation, joy and peace for herself and others. Her connection to the living practice of yoga, a path of mindful wellness and self realization fuels her work, impacts her life and propels her to want to share it with others through her writing, events and guest teaching opportunities. She remains focused on making this healing practice accessible to all, connecting to communities that are normally excluded or ignored in mainstream wellness circles.

Being a mother of two liberated souls has created a point of focus that brings these tools to the way she is mothering them and also calling her to share this with all parents. Through in person and online offerings, Kelley centers her work on making these connections with authentic and sustainable tool building. Her writing, offerings and more about her can be found at kelleynicolepalmer.com.
